Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in various welding techniques. This role involves working on construction sites and requires the ability to read blueprints and assemble components accurately. The Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality fabrication and assembly of metal structures.

Duties

Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
Execute pipe threading and soldering as required for specific projects.
Operate press brake machines to shape metal components according to specifications.
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications.
Assemble metal parts and structures with precision, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Operate forklifts for the movement of materials as necessary on construction sites.
Bilingual a plus.
Experience

Proven experience in welding, preferably in a construction site environment.
Familiarity with mechanical tools and equipment, including micrometers for precise measurements.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Previous experience operating press brake machines is a plus.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding and construction is essential.
