Flood Risk Consultant\n £30,000 - £38,000\n Southampton \n\n We’re representing a leading consultancy looking to expand its environmental and infrastructure planning division with a Flood Risk Consultant in their Southampton office.\n\n You’ll support the preparation of Flood Risk Assessments, Sustainable Drainage (SuDS) strategies, and drainage design for development and regeneration schemes.\n\n The Role:\n\nPreparing flood risk assessments and drainage strategies for planning applications\nSupporting senior consultants on SuDS design and feasibility studies\nUsing GIS, AutoCAD, and hydraulic modelling software\nLiaising with local authorities, developers, and other stakeholders\nWhat you’ll need:\n\nDegree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science\n1–3 years’ experience in flood risk or drainage consultancy\nStrong understanding of SuDS principles and relevant legislation\nExcellent written and analytical skills\nThe Package:\n\n£30,000 – £38,000 DOE\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nHybrid working and professional development support\nA brilliant opportunity to develop your technical skills within a growing and supportive team.\n\n Apply today or get in touch to find out more
