We’re working with a respected civil and structural engineering consultancy who are looking for a Flood Risk Consultant to join their growing Bristol team.

The role:



Producing and advising on flood risk and sustainable drainage strategies for planning applications

Supporting the design team and working closely with the Flood Risk Team Lead

Preparing reports and strategies across a variety of development and regeneration projects

Contributing to SuDS design and integration within private sector developments

Using tools such as GIS and AutoCAD to support project delivery

What we’re looking for:



Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Environmental Science or a related field

1–3 years’ post-graduate experience, ideally in a consultancy environment

Strong knowledge of SuDS standards and UK planning processes

Experience or a genuine interest in flood risk and sustainable drainage strategies

Proficiency in relevant software (GIS, AutoCAD)
