My client, an innovative, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their expert team of design engineers, based in the thriving, culturally-diverse city of Leeds.



Essential Criteria:



A Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, or similar, relevant discipline

Extensive experience of having worked in a flood risk and/or drainage role

Familiarity with planning and environmental regulations, as well as the appropriate Section Agreements and their respective applications within the industry

Experience of using GIS software (e.g., QGIS), and other software packages

Hold Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this

An additional, postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline

Good written and oral communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Experience of managing a range of stakeholder relations



In the exciting role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join a dedicated team of experts in the field, with a view to developing your career and progress through the ranks. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:



Producing Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies, and planning applications

Overseeing Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS) designs, producing plans and technical drawings

Preparing flood risk and mitigation reports for a range of clientele across the sector

Establishing and maintaining working relations with a range of clients and other stakeholders

Providing support to wider service areas, contributing to the company's overall vision
