Fleet Safety Manager – Lead Safety Excellence at zTrip in Las Vegas, NV!

Company Overview:

At zTrip, the largest taxi service in the U.S., safety is at the core of our mission. We’re looking for a dedicated Fleet Safety Manager to oversee safety and compliance across our Las Vegas operations. In this key role, you’ll lead safety initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Policy Development & Enforcement: Create and implement safety policies that meet federal, state, and company standards.
• Risk Management: Conduct safety audits and assessments to identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Training & Education: Lead safety training programs for drivers and staff, focusing on accident prevention and regulatory compliance.
• Incident Response: Investigate safety incidents and coach drivers to reinforce safe practices.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor daily fleet operations to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Data Analysis: Track and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with operations, driver services, and leadership to promote safety awareness and compliance.
• Fleet Compliance: Ensure all driver, vehicle, and drug & alcohol files meet regulatory and contractual standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven background in fleet safety, transportation compliance, or risk management.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA, FMCSA, FTA, and other relevant safety regulations.
• Leadership Skills: Effective communicator and team leader with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Detail-Oriented: Strong observational skills and a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.
• Tech Proficiency: Experience with fleet management tools such as Fleetio is a plus.
• License: Valid Nevada Driver’s License required.
