Our company, a manufacturer of chemical raw materials operating in the United States for more than five years, is expanding its operations at its newly acquired facility in Beaumont, Texas.

Building on our long-standing logistics and transportation experience and our 1,000-vehicle fleet operations across Türkiye and Europe, we are seeking an experienced manager to lead our logistics and fleet operations in the United States.

We are not simply looking for someone who can find the next available load.

We are looking for a professional who understands how to increase vehicle utilization, improve revenue per vehicle, reduce deadhead miles, win new customers, and successfully manage a growing fleet.

The right candidate will play an important role in developing our U.S. logistics operation and will have the opportunity to lead the logistics organization and team as the fleet expands.

Role Overview

This role goes beyond dispatch. The successful candidate will manage our transportation operations, maximize profitable fleet utilization, secure new business, and build the systems and team needed to support future growth.
\n
The position will also develop third-party chemical, bulk, and dry freight opportunities to increase utilization and revenue.

Responsibilities

- Manage daily fleet and logistics operations.
- Maximize vehicle utilization by securing profitable loads, reducing deadhead miles, and organizing backhaul opportunities.
- Develop new customers and business opportunities in chemical, bulk, and dry freight transportation.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with brokers, shippers, manufacturers, customers, and business partners.
- Negotiate freight rates and secure profitable transportation agreements.
- Monitor revenue per vehicle, operating costs, and profitability, and provide regular reports to company management.
- Build and manage the driver, dispatch, and operations teams.
- Establish the operational systems and procedures required to support fleet growth.
- Plan the addition of new vehicles to the fleet.

Qualifications
\n
\n

- Experience in the U.S. transportation and trucking industry, including dispatch and fleet management.
- Strong knowledge of broker and shipper relationships, with the ability to source loads and negotiate freight rates.
- Ability to build and develop a customer portfolio with a strong focus on commercial growth and profitability.
- Ability to manage drivers and operations teams and lead a growing logistics operation.
- Ability to make independent decisions and take responsibility.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to live and work in the United States.
- Experience in both chemical and dry freight transportation is . However, candidates with strong experience in either area and the ability to learn the other will also be considered.
