We are looking for a highly organized and safety-focused Fleet Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our medical transportation vehicles. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, compliance, and readiness of our fleet to transport patients safely and on time. The ideal candidate has experience in transportation logistics and a strong understanding of healthcare-related regulations and vehicle standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage scheduling, dispatching, and route optimization for non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and emergency vehicles.
  
  
• Ensure all vehicles meet local, state, and federal healthcare transport requirements (e.g., ADA compliance, medical equipment standards).
  
  
• Oversee preventive maintenance, routine inspections, repairs, and emergency servicing of fleet vehicles.
  
  
• Maintain detailed records of vehicle use, maintenance, insurance, inspections, and driver compliance.
  
  
• Monitor fuel usage, vehicle tracking, and driver behavior through telematics systems.
  
  
• Hire, train, and manage drivers with a focus on safety, professionalism, and patient care.
  
  
• Develop and implement safety programs, including incident response protocols and driver retraining.
  
  
• Ensure timely licensing, registration, and documentation for all medical transport vehicles.
  
  
• Work closely with healthcare providers, dispatch staff, and customer service teams to improve service delivery and efficiency.
  
  
• Prepare reports on fleet performance, cost analysis, and improvement recommendations.

Work Environment:

• Office and field-based role with frequent vehicle inspections and coordination with drivers.
  
  
• May require on-call availability for urgent vehicle or transportation issues.
