Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Multiple openings in and around Tulsa, Oklahoma
Shift: Varies by client (Day and Night Shifts Available)

Position Overview

Stand-By Personnel is currently hiring experienced Fitter/Welders for several top-tier manufacturing and fabrication companies across the Tulsa metro area. These positions are ideal for welders who take pride in precision work, thrive in a fast-paced production environment, and are seeking steady, long-term employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Fit and weld structural and fabricated components according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform MIG and Flux Core welding to meet production and quality standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and job orders to determine layout and welding requirements.
• Use tape measures, squares, and fabrication tools to ensure accurate fit-up and alignment.
• Inspect finished welds for conformance and quality.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of welding/fitting experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to pass a 3G MIG/Flux Core weld test (required).
• Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Dependable, safety-oriented, and team-focused.
• Must provide your own welding hood and basic hand tools.
