Role: Fire Systems Engineer\nSalary Package £38,000\nLocation: Derbyshire\nWe’re hiring a Fire Systems Engineer to cover the Nottinghamshire / Leicestershire areas for a leading fire protection specialist. Whether you're an experienced Fire Systems Engineer seeking a fresh challenge or ready to step into a more autonomous role, this position offers long-term career growth and excellent support.\nPay & Perks as a Fire System Engineer:\n * \n Salary package of up to £38,000 (DOE)\n * \n Travel time paid at time and a half\n * \n Saturday & Sunday paid at double time\n * \n 1 in 5 On-call Rota Allowance of £210 pw\n * \n Company van or car (spouse usage permitted)\n * \n Full kit: PPE, mobile, laptop, test equipment, power tools\n * \n 33 days paid annual leave\n * \n Sick Pay, Pension, and Death-in-Service Cover\n * \n GP app and Employee Assistance Program\n * \n Comprehensive training and product-specific education\n * \n Career development in a growing, forward-thinking company\nFire Systems Engineer Role Overview:\n * \n Service, maintain, and commission fire alarm and gas suppression systems\n * \n Work with GENT, Siemens, Morley, Kentec, and Notifier equipment\n * \n Integrate new devices into existing setups with full compliance\n * \n Respond to scheduled and reactive maintenance calls\n * \n Ensure adherence to British Standards and BAFE regulations\n * \n Deliver excellent customer service across commercial and industrial sites\n * \n Participate in on-call rota (£210 allowance)\n * \n Support wider operations, including project delivery and sales\nWhat You’ll Bring as a Fire System Engineer:\n * \n Proven experience with systems such as GENT, Siemens, Morley, Kentec, Notifier, Ziton, Eaton\n * \n Familiarity with ATEX, VESDA, and graphical interfaces\n * \n Electrical background ; FIA Units 1, 4 & 5 desirable\n * \n Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n * \n Confident communicator with solid IT proficiency\nTake your career to the next level with a role that keeps communities safe and businesses secure.
