Location: Carlisle & Cumbria area

Contract Type: 6-Month Rolling Contract

Rate: From £33.00/hour (Outside IR35, paid weekly)

V7 are currently seeking multi-disciplined Service & Maintenance Engineers for a long-term contract opportunity in the Carlisle and Cumbria region. You'll be working on housing sites, carrying out service and reactive maintenance across a range of fire and security systems.



Our client is a well-established national company specialising in security solutions. Following a number of recent major contract wins, they are expanding their engineering team and are looking for self-motivated professionals ready to take on responsibility.



Key Responsibilities:



* Service and maintenance of:



* Fire alarm systems



* Emergency lighting



* Intercom systems



* Access control systems



* Reactive repairs and fault-finding



* Managing multiple sites and priorities



* Working independently and meeting service deadlines



Job Details:



* Contract: 6 months, with potential for ongoing work



* Schedule: Monday to Friday (weekend work available)



* Location: Sites across Carlisle and Cumbria



* Pay: £33.00+ per hour (weekly pay, every Friday)



* Status: Outside IR35



* Overtime: Available

Requirements:



* Proven experience with service and maintenance of fire and security systems



* Comfortable with both planned service visits and reactive maintenance



* Valid DBS check (must be in place before start)



* Completed certifications:



* Asbestos Awareness



* Manual Handling



* GDPR Training
