Fire & Security Engineer (Fire Biased)\n\nWest Midlands Based | Predominantly Local Work\n£35,000 – £39,000 + Overtime + Van + Excellent Benefits\n\nA well-established and growing Fire & Security specialist is looking to recruit an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to join their expanding engineering team covering the West Midlands region.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected business delivering projects and maintenance services across a wide range of commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sector environments.\n\nThe successful candidate will ideally be fire biased and have strong experience across installation, servicing and fault finding of fire alarm systems, with additional knowledge of electronic security systems being highly advantageous.\n\nThe Role:\n\n * Service, maintenance and fault finding on Fire & Security systems\n\n * Predominantly working across the West Midlands area\n\n * Occasional travel further afield when required\n\n * No staying away or lodging required\n\n * Working across a varied portfolio of commercial and industrial sites\n\n * Delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service\n\nSystems Experience Desired:\n\n * Fire alarms (essential)\n\n * Intruder alarms\n\n * CCTV\n\n * Access control\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\n * Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Fire & Security industry\n\n * Strong fire systems knowledge \n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n\n * Able to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team\n\n * Excellent customer-facing manner\n\nPackage:\n\n * £35,000 – £39,000 basic salary\n\n * Company van\n\n * Paid travel time\n\n * Overtime opportunities\n\n * Pension scheme\n\n * Holiday pay\n\n * Sick pay\n\n * Stable, long-term opportunity with a growing business\n\nThis role would suit an experienced engineer looking for a secure position with a strong regional company that values its engineers and offers a healthy work-life balance with no overnight stays required.\n\nPlease call Leigh or send your CV for further details
