Job Title: Fire & Security / Electrical & Mechanical Project Manager\nSalary: £48,000 per annum\nLocation: Erith, London & South\nEmployment Type: Full-Time\nReports to: Operations Director / Head of Projects / Senior Manager\n\n Job Summary\nWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager with expertise in Fire & Security and Electrical & Mechanical systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of contracts involving fire alarm and detection systems, suppression systems, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and electrical/mechanical installations. This role requires excellent technical knowledge, proven project management skills, and the ability to ensure compliance with industry regulations and client specifications.\n\n Key Responsibilities\n\nLead and coordinate installations from design through to commissioning.\n\nDevelop project schedules, allocate resources, and manage subcontractors.\n\nMonitor budgets, timelines, and quality, reporting regularly to senior management.\n\nConduct site visits to ensure milestones are achieved.\n\nProvide technical guidance and review drawings, schematics, and specifications.\n\nEnsure compliance with BS5839, BS5266, BS EN 50131, NSI standards, and other regulations.\n\nMaintain strong knowledge of health & safety and conduct risk assessments.\n\nManage and support engineers and subcontractors, ensuring high standards of performance.\n\nServe as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.\n\nSupport business development through tenders, proposals, and networking.\n\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\n\nMinimum 5 years’ experience in Fire & Security and Electrical & Mechanical project management.\n\nRelevant certifications (e.g., FIA, BAFE, NSI, SSAIB).\n\nCertification in electrical or mechanical systems installation and maintenance.\n\nValid ECS/CSCS card and full UK driving licence.\n\nStrong IT skills (MS Project, Office Suite; AutoCAD familiarity advantageous).\n\nExcellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.\n\nDesirable Qualifications\n\nNEBOSH or IOSH certification.\n\nExperience with integrated security solutions
