Fire Door Engineer\n\nFire Door Engineer / Field Service Engineer. A London based fire protection / fire safety firm are looking for a Fire Door Engineer / Field Service Engineer with responsibility for completing refurbishment, maintenance, inspection and delivering a high level of workmanship.\n\nResponsibility for completing the refurbishment, maintenance, inspection and always delivering a high level of workmanship.\n\nWorking in a team and independently when required\nLiaise with management team daily.\nPerform inspections and assessments of existing fire-rated doors to identify any repairs or replacements needed.\nInstall fire-rated doors in accordance with fire regulations, safety regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.\nInstall and maintain fire-rated door hardware, including locks, hinges, closers, and panic devices.\nEnsure compliance with fire safety regulations, including fire ratings, smoke sealing, and door clearances.\nMaintain accurate records of door installations, repairs, and inspections.\nAdhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) when necessary.\nMaintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly maintained.\nTravel to multiple sites as required.Experience & Skills\n\nUK Driving License (required)\nAll aspects of fire door Inspection, installation and maintenance. (required)\nSolid understanding of fire safety regulations, carpentry techniques, and possess strong attention to detail.
