Fire & Security Service Engineer - Manchester & Surrounding Areas\n\n£36,000 - £42,000 + Overtime + Van + Excellent Benefits\n Greater Manchester & Surrounding Regions | Permanent\n Recruiting on behalf of a leading Fire & Security provider\n\nI am currently supporting one of my long-standing clients a reputable, NSI-accredited Fire & Security company as they continue their expansion across Manchester and the surrounding areas. They are looking to hire an experienced Fire & Security Service Engineer to join their growing team.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer who enjoys autonomy, variety, and exposure to high-quality systems across a wide range of sites.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Fire & Security Service Engineer, you will:\n\nService, maintain and fault-find on fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems\n\nCarry out both planned and reactive maintenance across commercial and industrial sites\n\nComplete system testing, inspections, and minor commissioning\n\nBuild strong relationships with clients through professional communication and quality work\n\nParticipate in an on-call rota (enhanced allowance provided)\n\nWhat My Client Is Looking For\n\nMinimum 2 years' experience servicing fire and/or security systems\n\nStrong fault-finding skills across at least two of the following disciplines:\n\nFire Alarms\n\nIntruder Alarms\n\nCCTV\n\nAccess Control\n\nExperience with brands such as Hikvision, Paxton, Advanced, Gent, Morley, Texecom, or Galaxy is desirable\n\nFull UK driving licence\n\nFIA training or relevant qualifications beneficial but not essential\n\nSalary & Package\n\n£36,000 - £42,000 basic salary (dependent on experience)\n\nPaid overtime available\n\nOn-call allowance\n\nCompany van and fuel card\n\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays\n\nPension scheme\n\nTools, uniform, and PPE provided\n\nOngoing manufacturer training and career progression opportunities\n\nWhy This Role Stands Out\n\nStable, reputable engineering team with strong progression pathways\n\nWork on a variety of commercial sites across Manchester and neighbouring regions\n\nA company committed to quality, safety, and supporting its engineers\n\nExcellent earning potential through overtime and callout work\n\nInterested?\nIf you believe you have the skills and experience to excel in this role, apply today.\n\nAlecto Recruitment Limited is acting as an employment business for this vacancy.
