Job Title: Protec Fire Alarm Engineers (Subcontract)\n Location: Derby / Leicester / Nottingham\n Contract: 3 Months Initial (with option to extend)\n Start Date: Within 3 Weeks\n Status: Outside IR35\n\nThe Role We are looking for two experienced Fire Alarm Engineers with Protec system experience to support a live housing contract across Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.\n\nThe role will involve a mix of 1st and 2nd fix installation work, testing, fault finding and commissioning of Protec 6500 panels, along with other advanced fire alarm systems. Engineers will be working across multiple housing sites as part of an ongoing programme of works.\n\nPay & Benefits\n£33.00 – £35.00 per hour (depending on experience)\n\nOutside IR35\n\nDoor-to-door pay\n\nWeekly pay\n\n5 days per week consistent work\n\nInitial 3-month contract with likely extension\n\nOnline timesheet portal for easy submission\n\nKey Responsibilities\nInstallation of fire alarm systems (1st and 2nd fix)\n\nTesting and commissioning of Protec panels\n\nWorking on advanced fire alarm systems\n\nFault finding and system checks\n\nEnsuring works are completed to industry standards\n\nWorking across occupied housing properties\n\nEssential Requirements\nExperience working with Protec fire alarm systems\n\nExperience installing and commissioning fire alarm panels\n\nAbility to work independently\n\nValid DBS (or willing to obtain)\n\nOwn tools and transport\n\nDesirable\nExperience with advanced fire alarm panels\n\nDoor entry system experience\n\nExperience within housing or social housing environments\n\nECS/CSCS card ()\n\nTeams interview required prior to start.\n\n If you have Protec experience and are available within the next few weeks, please apply with your CV outlining your relevant experience.\n\nV7 Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer and does not discriminate on the grounds of , , , reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, or maternity, , or belief, , or .
