Job Description

Our client is a leading fire protection company providing fire detection and suppression equipment and due to their continued expansion Staffbase has been appointed to recruit for the position for Fire Alarm Engineer.\n\nThe Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for service, maintenance , testing and repair of fire alarm systems throughout Scotland.\nRole:\n\nThe Fire Alarm Engineer Team will operate as a field service engineer and you will be responsible for service and repair of fire alarm systems throughout Scotland. \n Duties will include;\n\nPlanned and reactive maintenance and testing of various fire alarm systems\nCarry out alarm system upgrades, panel swaps and replacements.\nEmergency lighting testing\nWork closely with the service manager to communicate daily weekly work progress updates.Candidate:\n\nYou will be an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer with excellent knowledge of fire suppression, leak detection and aspiration systems.\n\nYou will also have excellent technical understanding of alarm protocols and software systems such as GENT, Kentec amd Advanced. \n We will consider engineers with extinguisher experience provided you alarm skills are excellent.\n\nMust hold a UK Driving licence Max 6 points.
