Fire Alarm Engineer

Barrett Contract Services are recruiting for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer (Maintenance) on behalf of a respected Fire Alarm and Electrical Contractor working across Kings Cross and London.



This is a maintenance-focused role carrying out installation, servicing, fault-finding, and commissioning of fire and security alarm systems across a range of commercial, residential, and public sites.



The Role

Maintain, service, and repair fire & security alarm systems.



*



Fault-find, test, and commission systems (addressable & conventional).



*



Routine inspections in line with BS5839 & manufacturers’ standards.



*



Install, connect, and programme panels, devices, sensors, and wiring.



*



Provide reports, certificates, and technical support to clients.



*



Attend callouts and travel across London sites.



Requirements



*



Proven experience as a Fire Alarm Engineer (maintenance/service).



*



Knowledge of panels such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Gent, Notifier.



*



Familiar with BS5839 regulations.



*



Full UK driving licence.



Desirable: FIA training, emergency lighting knowledge, London project experience.
