Financial Planning Manager

Job Description

This international ecommerce business are recruiting for a commercially astute financial planning manager. This is a highly visible role within the organisation partnering a multi-functional leadership team and providing them with insightful decision support MI. The financial planning manager will be a qualified accountant who has previously held a financial planning/commercial finance role and is looking for their next step. You will be an experienced manager and be a proactive and positive contributor to the success of corporate strategies.

THE ROLE

As the Financial Planning Manager, you will lead and develop a small team and collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the FP&A team in consolidating the results, providing all required financial insight to ensure the best decision support
• Manage the relationship with the group FP&A team ensuring all reporting requirements are met
• Co-ordinate budgeting cycle in a timely manner to enable swift, astute decision making
• Lead and manage weekly trading and monthly forecasting processes
• Support with the delivery of a new planning tool

THE PERSON

• Qualified Accountant ( ACCA,CIMA,ACA)
• Proven leader with the ability to motivate and engage staff to achieve company goals
• Ability to influence across both finance and non-finance teams
• Highly analytical and a proficient Excel user
• Effective communication is at the heart of this business and you will therefore need to be a confident communicator
• Team player who can collaborate with stakeholders up and down the organisation
