Financial Planning Analyst - 6-Month Contract\nLocation: Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire (Hybrid working)\nContract: Temporary - circa 6 months\nStart Date: ASAP\nRate: Circa £350- £390p/day (Inside IR35)\n\nWe're partnering with a well-regarded organisation to recruit a Financial Planning Analyst on a temporary basis (approximately 6 months). This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to join a collaborative team and support key forecasting and planning activities during a period of high business activity.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n* Support the Planning Manager in maintaining a rolling forecast and updating statutory models including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and debt/interest.\n* Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and business plans through close collaboration with multiple departments and stakeholders.\n* Perform scenario planning, what-if analysis, and contribute to the creation of high-quality presentation materials for senior leadership.\n* Help enhance planning processes and key financial drivers in partnership with operational and wider finance teams.\n* Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's cash flow model, reviewing assumptions and ensuring alignment with trading plans and payment cycles.\n* Produce weekly cash flow reports for review and distribution to senior stakeholders including board members.\n* Conduct analysis to support accurate cash forecasting and provide additional ad-hoc financial insight where required.\nIdeal Candidate:\n* Experience in financial planning and analysis, ideally within a fast-paced or changing environment. Fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA).\n* Confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally and present to senior stakeholders.\n*Proactive and analytical, with a strong attention to detail and a collaborative working style.\n\nThis is a hybrid role, with a mix of remote and office-based work from the Aylesbury site.
