Overview
Open Source Integrators is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Finance & Operations Analyst to join our fast-paced, ethical, and collaborative team. This is an entry-level, hands-on role supporting our CFO—designed for someone with strong organizational skills, a knack for numbers, and a long-term interest in financial management, accounting, or operations.
This is a rare opportunity to learn how legal, financial, and operational decisions are made in a growing consulting business. You’ll help maintain our financial backbone while gaining exposure to contract management, project costing, invoicing, and strategic reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize financial records and confidential documents in both digital and physical formats
- Support cost accounting tasks, including tracking expenses, reconciling accounts, and preparing documentation for analysis
- Assist with contract documentation, expense approvals, and invoice tracking to support project-level financials
- Collaborate with the PMO to ensure accurate filing and execution of Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and task orders
- Assist the CFO in preparing internal presentations, financial dashboards, and special project reports
- Manage incoming requests via email and mail—ensuring timely, professional responses
- Coordinate training sessions, internal events, and department-wide communications
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the finance and legal teams
- Learn and apply basic financial principles (e.g., accruals, billability, earned value) in day-to-day tasks

Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree (or active pursuit of one) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; bonus for familiarity with financial reporting tools
- Highly organized with extreme attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential business and legal materials
- Interest in financial planning, project accounting, or business operations
- Positive, proactive attitude with a desire to learn and grow into more responsibility
- Strong interpersonal skills—able to work cross-functionally and hold internal teams accountable when needed
