Job DescriptionJob Description· Deployed to customer job sites throughout West Texas and Southeast New Mexico.
· Reporting for duty on time. Punctuality is mandatory. This means that personnel will be on location, in uniform, and fit for work 15 minutes early to start the day or shift change. With enough food and water for the shift. Can adapt to any last-minute changes, during days on.
· Field technician will be responsible for installing remote monitoring equipment and deploying it to customer job sites. Experience in installation of flanges/valves/water transfer lines a plus.
· Field technician will be responsible for collecting water samples from job sites and performing tailgate testing on samples. Testing/installation protocol will vary by customer job, however, will typically involve a 12-hour day.
· Will record results electronically for testing or deployment information. Must be proficient in use of Microsoft Word and Excel. Able to troubleshoot basic computer problems. Able to adapt to new software.
· Will manage calibration of analytical equipment as needed in accordance to company standards. Ensure all supplied equipment is in working order and ready for use.
· Will maintain inventory of lab supplies and coordinate with supervisor to maintain stock.
· Can work alone or in a team, while maintaining professionalism. Working in a safe manner and adhering to all company policies.
· Must have a valid driver’s license and be eligible to drive in accordance with GeoKimika’s policies.
· Must have current PEC/Safeland and H2S training.
· Must be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol test. Must maintain clean drug and alcohol tests.
· Able to lift 50lb or more in different terrains. Able to work in outdoor conditions.
