About the Position
We are hiring a Field Technical Manager who is an expert in gypsum cement, moisture conditions, balcony waterproofing, and concrete behavior.
This role is hands-on, technical, and jobsite-focused. You will visit every project, ensure correct installation methods, monitor quality, and make adjustments on the fly as conditions change.
If you know how weather affects drying, how substrates need to be prepped, and how membranes must be applied — we want you.
What You’ll Do

Visit all job sites to oversee:

Gypsum cement underlayments
-
Self-leveling compounds
-
Balcony waterproofing systems
-
Sound mat installations
-

Monitor field conditions (moisture, temp, humidity) and adjust installation methods.

Perform QC inspections and maintain documentation.

Troubleshoot curing delays, substrate issues, or waterproofing challenges in real time.

Work with crews to ensure installation accuracy and safety.

What We’re Looking For

Experience with gypsum underlayments, lightweight concrete, waterproofing, or building envelope systems.

Strong understanding of:

Concrete/gypsum curing

Weather impacts on installation

Moisture testing and substrate prep

Balcony waterproofing layers
-

Ability to make technical decisions in the field.

Strong communication and jobsite leadership skills.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites daily. (I-35 corridor, Houston, DFW)
