This position requires a current and active TS/SCI security clearance, with the willingness and eligibility to obtain a CI Polygraph and Full Scope Polygraph. Red Rock is currently seeking an FSR Engineer to support operations and reliability for mission-critical systems deployed within the security space. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer with deep experience in Linux, AWS cloud environments, and system automation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Experience administering Linux systems (CentOS, Red Hat)

• Experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CLI, and AWS Console

• Experience with system hardening, patching, and operational security

• Proficiency with Ansible, Python, or Shell scripting to automate manual tasks

• Experience maintaining web servers such as NGINX and Envoy

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

• Hands-on experience supporting data platforms such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, Cassandra, or Elasticsearch

• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues across OS, cloud, and network layers

Desired Skills:

• Experience supporting hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud)

• Familiarity with configuration management tools like Puppet

• Experience participating in an on-call rotation

• Exposure to Azure or multi-cloud environments
