Job DescriptionJob Description

The Field Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing day-to-day field activities, supporting field staff, ensuring safety and compliance, and maintaining strong communication between teams and leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of outcomes. Projects are located throughout Fairfield and New Haven counties. 

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support field staff to ensure high-quality performance and adherence to company standards
• Coordinate daily schedules, assignments, and project timelines
• Conduct onsite inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Serve as the primary point of contact for field teams, clients, and management
• Train, mentor, and evaluate field employees
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement effective solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and field logs
• Ensure equipment is properly used, maintained, and accounted for
• Uphold JMLS values and promote a positive, productive work environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role (industry specific experience )
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of safety protocols and field operations
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
• Read and understand architectural, mechanical and structural drawings
• Must pass background check
