Field Supervisor
Job DescriptionJob Description
The field supervisor position is the middle person between sales representatives and customers to ensure complete customer satisfaction. They will be required to meet with customers, gather measurements, and take photos of projects (Before and After). Must not be scared of heights in order to work in this position. You will be working with roofing and siding crews as well as interior crews and may be asked to inspect a roof with an insurance adjuster/inspector. The position will require the ability to measure roofs, siding, basement, kitchens, and bathrooms Etc. Must have a valid driver's license to apply for this position. Previous construction supervisor/management experience is a plus but not required.
Requirements of position:
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Not scared of heights
- Must have transportation to and from the office
- Must have general knowledge of Residential and Commercial construction
- Must be able to lift 80 lb. (Bag of concrete, Lumber, roofing shingles, etc.)
- Must be very organized and have very good communication skills
- Measurement skills
- Basic technology skills, ability to use cellular devices such as phones and/or tablets
- Familiar with CRM systems
- Ability to use Google Sheets/Excel, Word Docs, etc.
- Must have their own basic tools (standard carpentry tools, Hammer, Circular saw, Drill, Tape measurer, etc.)
Field Supervisor details & description:
In this position you will meet with customers to perform quick measurements and take pictures of the scope of work for our internal staff to do material ordering and scheduling of all materials for projects. You may be asked for the specifics of some materials to explain the need and use of items to ensure they are ordering the right materials for the project. You will also help pick up and deliver materials to jobsites. You are responsible for supervising onsite crews with installation, quality of work, and ensuring a safe working environment for the homeowners and crews. You may be asked after materials and crews are working to do small repairs and inspections throughout the day. The days will end by following up with crew members and homeowners to ensure work is being done to the highest quality of Just-IN-Time Renovations Inc. standards. At the end of each day you will plan for the next day and the rest of the week to ensure projects are getting done in a timely manner. You will report back to the office and general manager at the end of each day.
