Interim HealthCare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Supervisor to support our non-skilled home care services.  This position involves traveling to clients' homes to conduct in-home assessments, perform supervisor visits, complete state required check-ins, assist with of new caregivers.

As a Caregiver, here’s a big-picture view of what you’ll do:

• Conduct in-home assessments for clients receiving non-medical home care services
• Perform supervisory visits to ensure quality care and compliance
• Be available to provide direct care to clients in emergency situations
• Assist with of new caregivers
• Assist with scheduling
• Provide the personal care and support seniors need to live safely at home
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation and companionship
• Help with ambulation, transferring and range of motion exercises
• Provide medication reminders, document their condition
• Ensure a safe home environment with unobstructed pathways
• Participate in activities that bring clients joy such as puzzles, games, reading and hobbies

A few must-haves for Caregivers:

• Must have prior experience as a caregiver
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must be 18 years or older
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid IL driver’s license, auto insurance and transportation
• Compassionate and helping nature, good communicator and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
