OVERVIEW:
Aqua Poppy, underneath the Edwards Family of Companies, is looking for an experienced and capable field supervisor to oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of water treatment systems throughout the Northern California region. The ideal candidate will bring a solid foundation in the construction industry, strong mechanical skills, and demonstrated success in leading field operations. This role combines hands-on technical work with administrative responsibilities and direct customer engagement, requiring both leadership and technical proficiency.

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of temporary water treatment system deployment, including installation, operation, maintenance, and removal
• Supervise field staff and provide technical guidance on water treatment operations
• Perform regular and emergency maintenance on pumps, filters, chemical dosing systems, and other treatment components
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate conditions and develop installation plans
• Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of equipment at multiple project sites
• Maintain inventory of field assets and ensure all equipment is in working order
• Prepare detailed performance, maintenance, and compliance reports
• Estimate project scopes and resource requirements accurately
• Interface directly with clients to provide updates, address issues, and ensure satisfaction
• Enforce safety standards and ensure field operations meet regulatory and company safety protocols
• Support budgetary planning and cost tracking related to field services

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Primarily field-based work across construction sites in varying weather conditions
• Physical work involving lifting, bending, assembling equipment, and climbing
• Use of standard water treatment tools and monitoring instruments
• Fast-paced environment with a focus on safety, responsiveness, and reliability
• Occasional office time for documentation and coordination, but mostly active fieldwork

COMPENSATION:

• $33 - $40 DOE

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalency
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in field supervision, mechanical systems, or water treatment operations
• Strong mechanical aptitude with pump repair, filtration, and chemical treatment experience
• Experience working in construction or industrial environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for report writing and customer interface
• Must be willing and able to travel on short notice
• Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record required
• Employment is contingent upon passing a drug test and criminal background check
