Field/On-Site Supervisor - Architectural Wall Installation

The Field/On-Site Supervisor oversees and coordinates the installation of architectural wall systems (including demountable walls, glass partitions, and modular office systems) at construction sites or client facilities. This role ensures that installation work is completed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise daily on-site activities related to the installation of architectural wall systems.
• Interpret architectural drawings, installation manuals, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate and direct crew members, subcontractors, and vendors on-site.
• Ensure all installations are in accordance with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and company standards.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, architects, and clients.
• Monitor project timelines, report progress, and resolve issues that may cause delays.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and enforce safety protocols on-site.
• Maintain accurate records, including time tracking, material usage, site conditions, and job progress.
• Perform quality control inspections and identify punch list items.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or associate degree in construction management or related field .
• 3+ years of experience in commercial construction or architectural wall installation.
• Proven supervisory or lead installer experience on job sites.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders/scaffolding, and endure extended periods of standing or bending.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Skills:
• Familiarity with leading architectural wall systems.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Proficiency with project management software or mobile field reporting apps (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
