Field Technician – Electro-Mechanical (200+ HP Equipment Experience Required)
Shift: First Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Schedule: Full-time with ample overtime opportunities

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Field Technician with strong mechanical and electrical skills, specifically in the installation, alignment, balancing, and troubleshooting of equipment such as motors, pumps, and fans over 200 HP. This role requires hands-on expertise, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety.

 

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and test electro-mechanical equipment using a variety of diagnostic methods and tools.
  • Install, align, balance, and repair high-horsepower equipment including motors, pumps, and fans.
  • Operate specialized equipment such as laser alignment tools, portable balancing equipment, megohmmeters, clamp-on ammeters, and various hand and power tools.
  • Follow all company procedures for requisitioning and replacing materials and parts.
  • Verify repairs using standard start-up testing procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of proper PPE (respiratory, eye, and ear protection).
  • Maintain a basic working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience troubleshooting and testing electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Experience verifying repairs using standard start-up testing processes.
  • Ability to operate diagnostic tools and specialized equipment as listed above.
  • Education: High school diploma required; trade/vocational schooling, technical training, military training, or machine shop experience strongly .
  • Demonstrated ability to follow, perform, and retain skill-based, operational, and safety procedures.

 

Schedule & Compensation

  • First Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Overtime: Available after 8 hours daily
