About Us

Since 1972, Precision Pumping Systems (PPS) has been a trusted, family-owned manufacturer of packaged pump stations. We are expanding our team and looking for a Field Service Technician Support Specialist to provide technical support for our growing customer base.

Job Summary

In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for customers and employees needing technical support on pump stations, control panels, drives, and PLCs. You'll use your troubleshooting skills to help diagnose issues remotely, resolve failures, and support our field service operations. This position requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

• Answer and resolve service inquiries by phone and email.
• Troubleshoot and guide solutions for pumps, VFDs, PLCs, and control panels.
• Open, track, and close field service job tickets with accurate documentation.
• Assist with invoicing and reporting for completed service jobs.
• Support Field Service Technicians and the Field Service Manager with technical information and documentation.

What We're Looking For

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of control panels, drives/VFDs, PLCs, and pumping systems.
• Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with electro-mechanical systems.
• Previous technical support, field service, or industrial equipment experience .
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, and use hands.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. occasionally.
