Field Service Technician - Preventative Maintenance

This person will join a well-established and growing employee-owned company dedicated to providing preventative maintenance services for industrial pumps and rotating equipment.

This Field Service Technician will provide preventative maintenance services and routine field maintenance for industrial pumps and other rotating equipment. This position involves hands-on work with mechanical systems, requiring physical capability and a willingness to travel to various industrial facilities in the local area. (PA/MD).

Key Responsibilities:

• Paid daily travel in a company vehicle to various PA/MD job sites daily, performing repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of pumps systems and various industrial systems blowers, motors, and control systems.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed and report any significant findings to management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Must be comfortable with 3 phase electrical requirments such as opening control panels, taking voltage readings, and using multimeters on three phase power systems.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel and work variable hours, including occasional weekends for emergency calls.

Travel Requirements:

• Paid daily travel to job sites around the Southern PA and MD County areas - avg 30-60 mins, with the possibility of servicing locations up to four hours away on the upper-limit.
• Travel will primarily be conducted using a company truck, gas card, and tech will be expected to leave from their home each day.
