Our client the UK's leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of bespoke physical security products are looking for a motivated and experienced Automatic Door Field Service Technician to join their dynamic team..

Location:           Newcastle (covering large area from your home address)

Salary:              Competitive + company van + fuel card + over time

Hours:                8am - 5pm + over time (if you travel to and from work outside of these hours you be paid over time for that) 

Benefits:            25 days annual leave + bank holidays, access to employee health scheme, pension

 

You will be the primary point of contact for all service-related tasks in your area, including maintenance, repair, installation, and troubleshooting. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter and have a passion for problem solving. You must also have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to maintain and update your own van stock. You must also be comfortable working with a tablet for job reporting.

 

Our ideal applicant will have/be;



Experience working with Automatic Doors (Swing/Slide) and/or Roller Shutters is essential, ideally within installation or maintenance

BSEN16005 accreditation - Desirable

IT skills (Proficient in mobile device/tablet use)

Ability to troubleshoot, i.e. repair equipment

Positive can-do self-motivated attitude towards work and fellow team members & willingness to support other technicians in the field.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers

Full UK Driving License
