We are seeking highly skilled and motivated candidates to join our team as Field Service Technicians for Low Voltage Cabling, with a particular focus on security systems and access control. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems, including data, voice, video, and security systems such as CCTV and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install low voltage cables and associated hardware, including Cat5e, Cat6, Fiber Optic cables, Audio/Video cables, coaxial cables, and security system wiring
  • Set up, configure, and maintain low voltage systems, including CCTV systems, access control systems, audio/video systems, and other security-related technologies
  • Ensure all installations meet industry standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to low voltage systems, cabling, and security systems
  • Provide high-quality, customer-focused service on-site, ensuring that all security and access control systems are fully operational and comply with client needs
  • Work with cutting-edge technology, including advanced security solutions and access control systems, expanding your skill set as the field evolves

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in low voltage cable installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, with experience in security and access control systems
  • Proficiency in using tools and equipment related to low voltage cable installation, security systems, and access control setups
  • Knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements for low voltage systems and security installations
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work at heights or in confined spaces as needed (including climbing ladders up to 20 feet)
  • Valid Texas Driver's License and ability to pass a Government Background and Drug Screening

Position Overview:
As a Field Service Technician, you will be an integral part of our operations, responsible for the installation and maintenance of telecommunication systems, including security and access control systems. Reporting to the Field Service Manager, your core responsibilities will include cabling, networking, and troubleshooting low voltage systems to ensure smooth functionality. You will also play a crucial role in addressing customer needs, working with cutting-edge technology, and ensuring the highest level of service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.00 – 40.00 per week
