About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Security Technicians with expertise in access control systems, surveillance technologies, and security system integration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CCTV, badge readers, mag locks, motion sensors, and other security devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure security hardware, including CCTV cameras, access control panels, badge readers, mag locks, push buttons, and motion sensors.
- Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting for security equipment failures and connectivity issues.
- Ensure installations adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to optimize system performance and longevity.
- Work with IP-based security systems, access control configurations, and remote surveillance technologies.
- Provide customer-focused service, ensuring security solutions are functional, reliable, and tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate with team members to deploy new security technologies and improve system efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in security system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency with installation tools, security system components, and access control setups.
- Strong knowledge of wiring requirements for security panels, badge readers, composite and shielded cables, and IP-based systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and ability to pass a Government Background and Drug Screening.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights (up to 20 feet), and navigating confined spaces.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected Hours: 35 – 40 per week
