Capital Machine and Modern Machinery Company are now hiring for a Field Service Technician for their Maintenance Department in Harrisburg, PA and Pittsburgh, PA.

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This critical role involves traveling to customer sites to provide expert technical support, including troubleshooting complex issues, performing corrective maintenance, optimizing machine performance, and delivering comprehensive operational training to machine operators. The successful candidate will be the face of our company, ensuring our customers maximize the value and efficiency of their machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems issues on a wide range of industrial machinery.

• Corrective Maintenance: Perform hands-on repairs, component replacements, and adjustments to restore malfunctioning machinery to optimal working condition.

• Performance Optimization: Analyze machine performance data, identify bottlenecks, and implement adjustments or upgrades to improve efficiency, accuracy, and output.

• Operational Training: Conduct thorough and effective training sessions for customer operators and maintenance personnel on the proper operation, safety procedures, and basic maintenance of our machinery.

• Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers, providing clear, concise, and professional communication regarding service progress, technical explanations, and recommended solutions.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate Degree or Technical Certification in relevant field strongly

• Multiple years of proven experience as a field service technician, industrial electrician, or similar role

• Experience in troubleshooting complex electrical circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical systems

• Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics, hydraulic diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals

• Understanding of PLC logic and diagnostic capabilities
