Field Service Technician\n \nStop scrolling — your next career move starts here.\nIf you’re a mechanically minded engineer who loves keeping machines running at their best, this role offers variety, independence, and the chance to work with world-class CNC technology — all while being home most nights.\n \nAs a Field Service Technician, you’ll be responsible for servicing and maintaining CNC machinery at customer sites across the South East of England. You’ll carry out preventative maintenance, diagnose mechanical issues, and make sure every machine is performing at its peak. With full product training provided, you’ll quickly become the go-to expert in your area, enjoying the satisfaction of keeping your customers’ production running smoothly — without being away from home for long stretches.\n \nJob Responsibilities\n\nCarry out scheduled preventative maintenance on CNC machinery to minimise downtime\nDiagnose and resolve mechanical faults quickly and effectively\nReplace, adjust, and align mechanical components to meet specification\nConduct inspections and complete detailed service reports\nProvide basic operator guidance to customers following maintenance visits\nLiaise with the technical support team when additional expertise is required\nMaintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle to high standards\nTravel to customer sites within your local patch, with minimal overnight stays\nEnsure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements \nSkills and Experience\n\nStrong mechanical engineering background, ideally within maintenance or service roles\nHands-on experience with machinery, lathes, or other mechanical equipment (CNC experience beneficial but not essential)\nGood problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently\nComfortable travelling within a local patch and engaging with customers on-site\nFull UK driving licence\nProfessional approach with good communication skills\nElectrical or product knowledge is not required — full training will be provided \nPay and Benefits\n\nSalary up to £30,000 depending on experience\nOTE circa £37,000 with bonuses\nMonday to Friday, 39 hours per week\nCompany car (BMW 330e or similar)\nAnnual company performance bonus\nMonthly bonus paid per machine sold\nUp to 6% matched pension contribution\n22 days holiday plus bank holidays\nComprehensive product and technical training programme\nOpportunities for career progression within a global organisation \nIf you’re mechanically skilled Field Service Technician, want to work with cutting-edge CNC technology, and value being home most nights, this is an opportunity you don’t want to miss.\n \nApply now and take the first step towards joining a global leader in machine tool solutions as a Field Service Technician
