Field Service Technician – Injection Molding Machinery (IMM)
Yizumi-HPM Corporation is a manufacturer of high-quality hybrid injection molding machinery and hot and cold chamber die casting machinery. HPM has been supplying injection molding machinery and support services to the plastic industry since 1931 and has thousands of Injection Molding and Die Casting Machines in operation throughout North America.
We are currently seeking full-time Field Service Technicians to join our team in Iberia, OH!
Pay: $30-$40/hour depending on experience

Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all company and customer safety policies.
• Install, repair, and maintain Injection Molding Machinery, and related software, and control systems.
• Perform all safety checks on the equipment.
• Demonstrate the use of the equipment, and provide customer training as needed.
• Troubleshoot machine failures and performance issues (Define service problem, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions) and perform root cause analysis, and corrective actions. Document findings and actions.
• Order replacement parts as required and document other worn parts which may need replaced in the future.
• Ensure machines are properly calibrated despite the purpose of the call.
• Respond promptly to customer problems via phone, email, or onsite, in a courteous and professional way.
• Offer maintenance and operation recommendations to customers.
• Provide written reports on all service calls, making sure to document key contacts, and the workload of the machines.
• Ensure maintenance records by serial number and customer are maintained and up to date.
• Perform all other tasks, projects and duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Relevant technical degree .
3. Strong knowledge of Injection Molding Machinery, systems and controls.
4. At least two (2) years of related experience required.
5. Extensive knowledge in the trouble shooting and repairing of injection molding machines.
6. Ability to level a machine, adjust nozzle concentricity, platen parallelism, and tie bar stretch.
7. Understanding of mechanical drawings, electrical and hydraulic schematics.
8. Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and stand for 8 hours a day.
9. Must be able and willing to travel up to 50% of workdays.
