We are Peak Systems a technology staffing and managed services consulting firm connecting technical consultants with various industry opportunities. Technicians who join us may receive new certifications for working with our clients; we issue payments weekly, offer direct deposit, and have many nationwide opportunities.

We are currently seeking a field support technician for a contract to hire role.

 Job Title: Field Service Technician

 Location: Logansport, IN

 Employment Type: Contract to hire

Pay Rate: $20/hour

Job Summary:

Peak is seeking a field technician to assist with contract to hire role in Logansport, IN. Working hours are Mon-Fri 9am-6pm with afterhours and overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Primary day-to-day responsibilities: Traveling for break fix services to different clients each day.
• Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
• Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
• Supports and maintains user account information including rights, security and systems groups.
• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.
• Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers' needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience:0-2yrs
• TOP 2 required skills: Active A+ Certification and Printer Repair skills
• Candidates should be located within 20 miles of 46947 zip code
• Certifications: A+ Certification
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Location: Work from home and travel to client sites
• Miles per day: 0-100 – mileage will be reimbursed – MUST have reliable transportation
• There will be OC (on call)
