Sonicu, a fast-growing wireless sensor and cloud-based computing company headquartered in Indianapolis, IN is looking for a Field Service Technician to help fill the demand of our growing client base. This position is full-time and serves a vital role in our customer team. Sonicu offers employees unlimited growth potential and a fast-paced work environment in the growing wireless sensor/IoT industry.

Responsibilities:

• Install and commission Sonicu hardware and sensors at the customer site to ensure high customer satisfaction. Demonstrate proper use of Sonicu equipment and software to customer contact.
• Perform service at a customer site that may include maintenance, repair, and SNAP calibration as necessary.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent SONICU at the highest level. You are the face of SONICU.
• Travel to customer sites per scheduled visits.
• Ability to troubleshoot related equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Assist with technical support and in-house production activities when schedule permits.
• Display excellent time management skills for projects and daily tasks.
• Prepare and submit standard work timely manner, including service reports, expense reports, and installation reports.
• Provide feedback to stakeholders to help ensure customer satisfaction and that the voice of the customer is heard. Product enhancements, etc.
• Partner with Customer Success Managers, Sales, Technical support, and Production to ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Ability to travel in and out of state with short notice, including an occasional weekend.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of network topologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Basic computer and software knowledge
• Flexibility – Ability to multitask and adapt to change
• Team-oriented and able to work individually
• General knowledge of appliances and hand tools
• Experience in health care service is a plus
• IoT and sensor experience is a plus
• A valid Driver’s license is required
• The candidate must read and speak English fluently
• Must pass drug screening and contractor training as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Dress for success – Proper work attire- Business Casual
• Expected Travel 60%- 80%
