Your Role as a Field Service & Calibration Engineer:



You'll be field based, predominantly covering a region but with further UK travel as needed.

You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of this testing equipment and instrumentation.

Examples include impact, tensile, universal, fatigue, or torsion testing.

You will be working within a variety of appealing manufacturing sectors including the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries, amongst others.

You will play an important role in ensuring the equipment is correctly calibrated and maintained to UKAS standards.

Compile detailed reports as appropriate.

The field-based nature of the role will require nights away from home; on average of 1 - 2 per week.Ideal Background for the Field Service & Calibration Engineer:



Knowledge of one of the following is essential:

Materials Testing equipment, either as a current service engineer, or as somebody using the machinery in a lab. Specifically on impact, tensile, universal, fatigue, or torsion testing.

Service and calibration knowledge of load cells and connected systems such as checkweighers, weighbridges, or similar.

A strong engineering understanding is essential in mechanical, electrical, and fluid disciplines.

Approachable, honest, and a team player.

Strong IT and communication skills.

Hold a full valid UK driving licence and have right to work in the UK as sponsorship can't be provided.The Client recruiting for the Field Service & Calibration Engineer:
