Job Title: Field Service Engineer – GE PET/CT and CT
Location: New York Metro / New Jersey Area / Atlanta
Salary: $110K+

Overview:
A rapidly growing diagnostic imaging service organization is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their expanding team. This role specializes in the service, repair, and maintenance of GE PET/CT and CT systems (“Big Iron”), supporting hospitals and imaging centers with best-in-class technical expertise. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional who thrives in independent field work and takes pride in delivering high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Perform field service, repair, calibration, and preventive maintenance on GE PET/CT and CT systems, including DVCT, VCT, and Optima 660 models.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while maintaining clear communication with customers and service leadership.
• Conduct scheduled system testing, adjustments, and performance verification to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Document all service activities accurately and submit timely reports in accordance with company standards.
• Manage company tools, parts, and resources efficiently.
• Stay current on imaging technology advancements and equipment functionality.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience servicing diagnostic imaging equipment.
• OEM experience with GE PET/CT and CT systems strongly .
• Background as a Technical Support Specialist or Senior Field Engineer .
• Must reside near a major airport in the New York or New Jersey area; willingness to travel 60–70% of the time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance and installations in clinical settings.
