Field Service Engineer (Forklift Trucks)

Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading material handling manufacturer who are looking to recruit a new field-based forklift service engineer to service their client base around Basingstoke. Responsibilities



Servicing a client based around the Basingstoke area

Supporting with PDIs and installing aftermarket parts at the customer’s request

Travelling nationally and supporting teams across England & Wales when required

Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when servicing & repairing forklifts & other equipment

Reporting to the Regional Service ManagerRequirements 



The company have a preference for an individual from a forklift truck background, but this is not essential. The company is open to considering candidates from other backgrounds including plant, powered access, automotive/commercial vehicles or cranes. You will be able to work well on your own with your own initiative and have good customer-facing skills. Ultimately, the company are after an individual with the right attitude and work ethic. In terms of location, you can be based anywhere around Basingstoke.
