Field Service Engineer\n\n UK Field-Based | Ideally based within reach of Sudbury, Derbyshire\n\n £35,000 - £45,000 DOE + Overtime + Door-to-Door Pay + Training + Progression\n\n We’re recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established, family-run business operating within the specialist machinery sector. This is a field-based role covering customer sites across the UK, offering plenty of overtime, specialist training, and genuine progression opportunities for the right person.\n\n This opportunity would suit someone from a background such as heavy plant, HGV, agricultural, recycling equipment, specialist vehicles, ex-forces, or similar heavy machinery environments.\n\nThe Role\n\nService, maintain and repair specialist machinery at customer sites across the UK\nDiagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and pump systems, with some basic electrical work involved\nCarry out planned servicing, reactive breakdown support and general fault-finding\nRepresent the business professionally on customer sites\nTravel regularly as part of a field-based engineering role\n What We’re Looking For\n\nGood understanding of heavy machinery\nStrong mechanical mindset with experience fault-finding and repairing equipment\nComfortable in a field-based position with regular travel\nGood attitude and willingness to learn\nSomeone who comes across well and fits into a close-knit team\nFull UK driving licence\nEngineers at an earlier stage in their career will also be considered, provided they have the right attitude, solid foundations, and are keen to develop.\n\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n£35,000 - £45,000 basic salary depending on experience\nPotential flexibility for the right candidate\nDoor-to-door pay\nStrong overtime opportunities\nSpecialist product training\nGenuine progression within a growing business\nSupportive, family-run working environment\n Please note: this role involves working on specialist drainage-related machinery, so candidates should be comfortable working within that type of environment.\n\nHow to Apply\n\n If you’re a qualified plant, HGV, agricultural or heavy machinery engineer looking for a field-based opportunity with training, overtime and long-term progression, please apply online or contact (url removed) for a confidential discussion.\n\nElite Consultancy Network is a brand within the Executive Network Group.
