Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Field Service Engineer to join our team and support ongoing installation and maintenance projects. The role demands hands-on leadership and technical competence in electrical and instrumentation systems across Oil & Gas installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and execute installation and maintenance activities of electrical and instrumentation systems independently
  • Install and maintain:
    • Single instruments and their electrical/pneumatic connections
    • Thermo/pressure switches, transmitters, vibration, temperature, and speed sensors
    • Calibrate and commission:
      • Instrumentation and control devices
      • Protection and auxiliary systems (Firefighting, Gas Detection, Lighting, HVAC, Fuel and Process Gas, Lube, Hydraulic, Control Oils, Starting Devices)
      • Perform cold/hot tests, loop checks, and full system commissioning
      • Install and calibrate LV electrical systems, including:
        • MCCs, UPS, inverters, battery chargers
        • Electric motors, VSDs, soft starters, heaters, transformers, switchgear, and batteries
        • Support control engineers during commissioning and start-up of machinery
        • Review and interpret technical documentation (Layouts, P&IDs, Instrument Lists, Schematics, Specifications)
        • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and handle Non-Conforming Materials (NCM)
        • Compile technical reports and use electronic tools such as EDM, TCE, FieldWorks
        • Ensure adherence to QA/QC and EHS (Safety) standards throughout all work activities
        • Work Authorization: Must be a resident of or hold a valid work permit/visa for the US
        • Preferred Qualifications
          • Proven ability to work autonomously on-site in fast-paced industrial environments
          • Strong familiarity with international standards for instrumentation and electrical systems
          • Experience working with major OEM equipment
          • Competence in documentation tools and digital field systems (e.g., EDM, TCE, FieldWorks)
          • High commitment to operational excellence, safety, and quality assurance
