Job Title: HVAC / Heat Pump Service Engineer(Field Services Engineer)\n\nTerm: Permanent, Full-Time\nSalary: £35,000 – £50,000 (DOE)\nLocation: Warwick-based role\nWorking Pattern: Fully Remote / Field-Based\nBenefits:\n\nCompany van (also available for personal use)\nNo on-call rota\nAll specialist tools, laptop & phone providedAbout the RoleWe are excited to be partnering with a growing and highly reputable renewable energy business who are looking to recruit an HVAC / Heat Pump Service Engineer to support their continued expansion across the Midlands and South Yorkshire regions.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking organisation operating at the cutting edge of ground source and air source heat pump technology, working with prestigious clients across the retail, hospitality, education, and healthcare sectors.\n\nThis role is fully remote and field-based, offering genuine autonomy, excellent earning potential, and long-term career development within the renewables sector.\n\nHVAC / Heat Pump Service Engineer – Role OverviewAs a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and commissioning of ground source and air source heat pump systems, along with associated water chillers and mechanical plant.\n\nWorking within the Technical Services team, you will deliver high-quality engineering support while maintaining strong customer relationships and upholding health and safety standards at all times.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nService, maintain, and repair ground source and air source heat pumps and water chillers\nCarry out diagnostics, fault finding, and corrective works\nPerform routine servicing and commissioning of ground source heat pump systems, including ground loop pipe networks\nSupport mechanical retrofit and installation projects when required\nAssist with commissioning of mechanical and electrical installations\nMaintain accurate service and maintenance documentation\nProduce detailed service reports following site visits\nEnsure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with company and H&S proceduresKnowledge, Skills & ExperienceEssential:\n\nProven experience servicing and maintaining HVAC, heat pump, or refrigeration systems\nF-Gas qualification (C&G 2079 or equivalent)\nNVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Building Services, or equivalent\nFull UK driving licence\nIT literate with strong written and verbal communication skillsDesirable:\n\nNVQ Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or Building Services\nElectrical qualifications (18th Edition / BS 7671)\nExperience with ground source heat pump systems\nApprenticeship backgroundPlease note: experience in lieu of qualifications will be considered.\n\nPersonal Attributes\nSelf-motivated, organised, and able to work independently\nStrong problem-solving and diagnostic skills\nCustomer-focused and professional at all times\nSafety-conscious with excellent attention to detail\nComfortable working remotely and managing your own workloadWhy Apply?\nJoin a fast-growing renewable energy specialist\nFully remote, field-based role with no on-call\nCompany van with personal use\nExcellent exposure to large-scale renewable projects\nClear progression opportunities as the company growsIf you’re an experienced HVAC or Heat Pump Engineer looking for a stable, long-term opportunity within the renewables sector, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nINDMAN\n\nDue to the high volume of applications, if you do not hear back within 5 working days, please assume your application has been unsuccessful.
