Field Service Engineer\n\nHertfordshire \n\n£45,000 – £55,000 + company vehicle + bonus + overtime + benefits\n\nAspion Search is partnering with a specialist engineering group delivering high-spec projects across hospitals, laboratories and cleanroom environments. They are seeking a Field Service Engineer to validate and test critical ventilation and cleanroom systems to HTM 03-01, ISO 14644 and GMP standards.\n\nThe Business:\n\nA respected and expanding provider of commissioning, validation, and compliance services across the UK, supporting the NHS, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing sectors.\nOffers structured training, clear career progression, and ongoing professional development.\nA forward-thinking, collaborative team where your work directly impacts patient safety, product quality, and clean air compliance.\n\nThe Role of the Field Service Engineer:\n\nField-based UK role (travel and accommodation fully supported) using state-of-the-art, calibrated equipment to validate critical ventilation systems.\n\nHEPA/ULPA filter integrity testing (DOP/PAO testing)\nAirflow measurement for supply and extract systems\nCalculation of air change rates\nVelocity measurements within isolators and laminar airflow (LAF) cabinets\nMonitoring and recording of pressure differentials\nAirborne particle counting and analysis\nAirborne microbial contamination monitoring\nSurface sampling for microbial contamination\nCarries out validation of:\n\nOperating theatres\n\nMicrobiological safety cabinets (Class I–III)\nCleanroom environments\nIncluding:\n • Particle counting\n • Smoke visualisation\n • HEPA filter testing & installation\n • Microbial air and surface sampling\n • Pressure differential measurements\n\nAbout the Field Service Engineer:\n\nEngineering or science qualification.\nOver 2 year’s experience in cleanroom/HVAC validation within hospital, laboratory or pharmaceutical settings.\nStrong understanding of supply & extract ventilation balancing.\nWorking knowledge of GMP, HTM 03-01 and P601.\nFlexible to travel UK-wide with regular overnights.\nFull UK driving licence.\n\nBenefits of the Field Service Engineer:\n\nWorking Away Bonus: £35 per night (paid annually in December).\nCompany vehicle (fully expensed) + fuel card.\nMobile phone & laptop provided.\nOptional company pension.\n25 days’ holiday + bank holidays.\nCompany card for all work-related travel/expenses.\nFully funded training and certifications.\nPrivate healthcare.\nDoor-to-door pay (travel hours paid at single rate).\nOvertime: time-and-a-half (Mon–Fri outside 08:00–17:00), double time on weekends.\n6-month probation; sick pay: 10 days at full pay.\n\n If you thrive in regulated, high-spec environments and meet the criteria, I’d love to speak.\n\nFind out more about our available opportunities or how I can help you further your career – contact me today.\n\nPlease contact Adele Lewis or click Apply Now.\n\nCall: (phone number removed) or (phone number removed)\n\nEmail
