Location: UK-Wide (Company Van Provided)

Salary: Up to £20 per hour + Overtime

Hours: 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday (No weekends unless agreed as OT)



First Achieve Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading manufacturer in the recovery vehicle industry. We're currently seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their growing Service Department.



This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician who thrives on variety, problem-solving, and working hands-on with advanced vehicle systems across the UK.



Role Overview



As a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in carrying out warranty and service repairs on recovery vehicles. This includes working on-site at customer premises across the UK, as well as providing vital support to the internal Service Team.



Key Responsibilities



Travel to customer locations nationwide to perform warranty repairs and diagnostics.



Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical components, and electrical systems.



Carry out preventive maintenance, inspections, and servicing to high standards.



Diagnose and resolve complex faults across multi-system recovery vehicles.



Deliver first-class customer service and technical support both in the field and on-site.



Maintain accurate job records and communicate effectively with the Service Manager.



What We're Looking For



Qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician (or demonstrable experience)



Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical systems



Proven background working on HGVs or similar heavy vehicles



Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills



Excellent communication and time management skills



Flexibility to travel and work overtime when required



Class 1 licence desirable but not essential
