Are you a mechanically biased Service Engineer looking for a varied and rewarding role with a leading precision engineering company? We're hiring for a Service Engineer to join our clients team, supporting their UK-wide customer base with occasional travel to Europe (95% UK based).

\n\nThe Role:\n

You'll be responsible for the efficient and safe installation, service, and repair of high-precision rotary tables and presetters, working both on customer sites and in their Rotherham-based workshop.

\n

Your day-to-day will include:

\n

    \n
  • \n

    Servicing and installing rotary tables/presetters across the UK

    \n

  • \n

  • \n

    Conducting in-depth diagnostics, repairs, and refurbishments

    \n

  • \n

  • \n

    Preparing and testing new systems in-house

    \n

  • \n

  • \n

    Operating workshop machinery including grinders, mills, and lathes

    \n

  • \n

  • \n

    Accurately identifying parts using drawings, bespoke software, and technical data

    \n

  • \n

  • \n

    Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards

    \n

  • \n

\n\nAbout You:\n

We're looking for a hands-on engineer with a strong mechanical background and a passion for precision.

\n

You will need:

\n

    \n

    Mechanical bias

    \n

  • \n

  • \n

    Apprentice trained (or equivalent hands-on experience)

    \n

  • \n

  • \n

    Previous field service or workshop experience

    \n

  • \n

  • \n

    A good understanding of CNC, tooling, or rotary systems (advantageous)

    \n

  • \n

  • \n

    Electrical qualifications (advantageous but not essential)

    \n

  • \n
