Field Service Engineer – Clean Energy Systems (California)
A confidential clean energy company is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the deployment and maintenance of advanced power systems across the West Coast. This role involves hands-on installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support for integrated energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and test high-reliability energy systems on-site.
- Perform routine maintenance and resolve technical issues in the field.
- Deliver responsive customer support and user training.
- Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system performance.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in field service, preferably in energy or power systems.
- Familiarity with three-phase systems, UPS, power electronics, and control platforms.
- Knowledge of industrial protocols (e.g., CANBUS, MODBUS).
- Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency with test equipment.
- Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
- Understanding of electrical safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E).
