We're currently recruiting for a Field Service Technician to join a highly respected machinery business, the UK arm of an international engineering group. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a long-term role with excellent earning potential, top-tier equipment, and a supportive team that values your expertise.

Location: Northampton | On-site
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am-6:00pm (Flexible)
Pay: £45,000 - £52,000 per annum (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:

- \n
- Carrying out planned maintenance and repairs on piling rigs and heavy plant equipment
- Diagnosing and fixing mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults
- Working with diesel engines and complex electro-hydraulic systems
- Travelling to customer sites across the UK and Ireland, with occasional overnight stays
- Providing professional, knowledgeable support as the face of the company
- Keeping your service vehicle and equipment in top working order

Requirements:

- Has 5+ years of experience working with heavy plant or construction equipment
- Understands diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Can confidently diagnose and resolve mechanical/electrical faults
- Has a full, clean UK driving licence
- Is willing to travel and stay away when required
